🎬Truly incredible storytelling! No breaks, no leaving me with the job of interpreting between the complexity of periods interwoven into different scenes or being plunged into an investigative mission of connecting the wild dots.
🎞️Just deeply immersive, thought-provoking storytelling that got me drawn into what may have been the complex mind of the brilliant physicist, J.R. Oppenheimer, credited as being responsible for the design of the Atomic Bomb.
And I do not use the word “thought-provoking” loosely. Although Oppenheimer is said to not have regretted his part in the creation of the atomic bomb, his most famous quote has come to be “Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds” (-words from a Hindu sacred text)
🍿I watched Oppenheimer on an IMAX screen. Although I’ve been told (repeatedly), that to truly enjoy Christopher Nolan’s master plan on this movie, you need to watch Oppenheimer in a 70mm IMAX screen (I don’t understand this and truly do not know the difference 😒).
Here’s the not so fun part, there are about only 30 of these in the world 🤭.
🎭Oppenheimer is a period piece and as you can tell from all of the Barbenheimer posts/memes scattered over the internet, it may not be a movie for glitz-loving movie watchers (I’m giving a full disclosure now, so nobody comes to rant in the DM after 😫).
🎟️Have you watched Oppenheimer yet? It’s a 💯and a ▶️ for me. What say you?
Oppenheimer is currently showing in most movie theatres worldwide.
