Tolsbee’s Movielist Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
Is Quantumania worth the hype?

🎬What can you expect when you watch AntMan and The Wasp: Quantumania? Let’s start with the obvious, Marvel wasn’t joking when they added Quantumania to the title.
I thought the whole point of Quantumania, which officially kicks off Phase 5 of the MCU, is in the post credit scenes (2 of them by the way).
But you do have to watch the movie itself to understand the post credits. Then there’s the suggestion that earth’s mightiest heroes have been outnumbered with what I’ll very much like to call Thanos, v2.0.

❗️And secondly, if you haven’t, please watch Loki to understand “existence” and why most of Quantumania takes place outside of time.
But this doesn’t mean you will not have questions. Especially if you’re not a devout Marvel Comic reading fan, like me 🫣.

And like true MCU fans know, the pointers (not answers) to most questions you have about the MCU are in the comics, you’ll just need to either wait to see how it plays out or devote your time to all the theories and speculations scattered around the web.

🍿It looks like with The Ant-man now being a part of the larger MCU, the Ant-man movies will never be the same anymore 😥.
It started out promising, until the whole deep dive into Janet Pym’s quantum realm, then Kang? And the delayed timing of Antman/the wasp’s resizing abilities?
Quantumania just lacked glue to make the pieces in this movie whole. But then again, this is just my personal view.

You’ll probably give a nod of approval to Kang’s larger connection in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe than because of all the fighting that takes place in the Quantum realm’s impressive world of CGI.
Then was it me, or did I feel like there was a fighting scene that looked like it came right out of Creed III? 😂

🫡On a side note, Thanos just needs his own origin story at this point. He makes all these other supervillains seem like child’s play.

🎟️|📺 Although I saw Quantumania in RealD 3D, only because all the good seats were already taken in the 2D screens.
I feel like it’s only the possibilities of what’s in store for the MCU and the questions that needs answers that got me excited. Other than that, I could have just waited to watch this on Disney+ rather than the big screen 😭.

⚠️May Contain Spoilers 👇🏽⚠️

Is Kang from Loki (He Who Remains) same as Kang The Conqueror?

Here’s what’s bugging me after watching Quantumania, especially the post credits:
Did the events of Loki take place in the Quantum realm? What comes first, Loki or this Quantumania? Is Loki’s Kang and Quantumania’s Kang one and the same? …🤔
